I don’t have a website — can I still sell on Dinkum?

Absolutely! You don’t need a website at all. Dinkum gives you a ready-to-go storefront with no upfront fees, while we handle the platform, promotion, and order management orders — no tech skills needed.

I already have a website — why should I still list on Dinkum?

No — your website is your brand’s home, while Dinkum is your growth engine. We put your products in front of customers browsing local market brands, helping drive traffic, discovery, and repeat orders. Many vendors use Dinkum alongside their own website for extra exposure.

Are there any upfront or ongoing fees?

No. There are no setup fees, no listing fees, and no monthly costs. Instead you only pay when you make a sale: 10% commission + Stripe's 2% payment processing fee

How do I get paid?

Payments are processed securely through the platform. Once an order is completed, payouts are sent directly to your nominated account — either when the buyer confirms delivery or 14 days after the order is marked as shipped (whichever comes first). Commission is automatically deducted before payout.

What can I sell on Dinkum?

We welcome unique, small-business products typically found at local markets. At this time, however, we are unable to accept any food or drink items. All products listed must comply with our Product Guidelines outlined in our Terms & Conditions, including all relevant Australian laws and regulations.

Is using the official listing template required?

All vendors are recommended to use The Official Listing Template.

It ensures products are correctly categorised, easy to find, and consistently presented across Dinkum — improving search visibility and helping drive higher sales.

Who handles shipping?

You ship products directly to the customer. You choose your shipping methods, costs, and delivery timeframes.

How are refunds handled?

Refunds are managed through the platform in line with our refund policy. Vendors are notified of all refund requests and supported throughout the process.

Who issues the invoice or receipt?

Customers receive an order confirmation and receipt through the Dinkum platform, with your brand clearly shown as the seller. If a customer requests an invoice, Dinkum can provide one.

Can I still sell at markets and elsewhere?

Absolutely. Dinkum is designed to complement your market stall — not replace it.
